Cunha Athletic Boosters (CAB)

Whether your student is new to Cunha or a veteran, Cunha pride is evident all over campus and particularly when wearing Cunha Spirit wear!

CAB is a volunteer-based non-profit corporation whose primary purpose is to give back to the athletic program. All donations go directly back into the program. This includes funding uniform costs, providing equipment, various league fees, and any other athletic related items.

Fundraising

Cunha Athletic Boosters have excelled at raising funds for our program through various fundraising events such as:

Pumpkin Festival (October 18th & 19th, 2025)
Spaghetti Dinner (Tuesday, April 29th - 5:30 - 7:30 PM Cunha MU)
Cunha Spirit Merchandise and Sports Apparel Sales
Coastside Gives (May 1st) - donate here!
Parking Lot Sales (Wine & Jazz Festival TBD)

The BGCC/CAB Partnership

The Boys and Girls Club of the Coastside AND the Cunha Athletic Boosters work together to run the Cunha Athletics Program, both financially and logistically. The fees collected by BGCC help pay for coaches stipends, referee costs, league fees, and other related items that are needed to help the program continue to operate. As stated above, CAB uses funds gathered from donations and fundraising events to pay for other costs associated with the program; such as uniforms, equipment, championship recognition, scorekeepers, tournament fees, and more.

Meetings

CAB welcomes families to attend meetings, volunteer for activities, and be active members of the organization by volunteering for the many fundraisers we have throughout the year. Meetings are usually held once a month in the Cunha library. Sometimes meetings are held on Zoom since we are all busy volunteers. Please reach out if you would like to attend - all are welcome! We are looking for interested families who would like to shadow a board member this year to transition to a board position by Spring or Fall 2025. Cunha Athletic Boosters (CAB) is a volunteer-based, registered 501c3 non-profit organization (Tax ID# 45-5161883) committed to raising funds to support a wide variety of competitive sports teams. We pay for player uniforms, equipment, scorekeeper fees, recognition funds for championship teams, and more. We have a social media channel where we showcase player highlights. We encourage students to come out and play and enjoy the fun of being a student athlete on campus, where you might just make new friends.
