STUDENT RECOGNITION

Cub Compliments

Compliments (school printed recognition currency) are given to students "caught" doing something in alignment with Cunha's expectations - Respectful, Responsible, Positive, and Safe.

Staff give these to recognize and encourage students to display positive behavior and to do their best each day.

Cub compliments can be used to purchase items from the Student Store or entered into a drawing for a lunchtime dessert on Fridays.

Honor Roll

This award recognizes students who have earned a GPA of 3.25 - 3.89 for the quarter. These students are given a certificate as recognition for their hard work. Students will also receive a bumper sticker for their first Honor Roll.

Principal's Honor Roll

This award recognizes students who have earned a GPA of 3.9 or better for the quarter. These students are given a certificate as recognition for their hard work. Students will also receive a Front of the Line Pass, lasting for the quarter, and a bumper sticker.

Student of the Month

This award recognizes students who model ideal Cunha community behavior. They are top students academically. They respect others, demonstrate a positive attitude, and are cooperative and supportive. In addition, they assume responsibility, go above and beyond, and are role models. As such, a student may only receive this award once during their years at Cunha.

One student from each grade level are selected based on teacher recommendations and consideration of the criteria described above. Winners will receive a certificate, a picture in the front of office, and a Front of the Line Pass, lasting for a month.
